Daka Wine

Daka Wine is a family winery in the old part of Rahovec with a multi-generational tradition of making wine and rakia. According to the entry text, the winery was licensed in 2008 by Gazmend Daka; in 2022 he said he is the sixth generation of his family to make brandy and wine, and that he mostly buys grapes from other Rahovec farmers.

Annual output is about 50,000 litres. The wines are Vranç, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Reserve, Chardonnay and Riesling, while the rakias include honey-scented grape rakia, plum rakia, pear rakia, and a grape rakia aged more than 5 years in oak. The brandy is distilled in a copper cauldron. About 80% of sales are local; exports go mainly to Switzerland, Austria, Serbia, Italy and Germany.

According to the Wikivoyage listing, the winery offers wine tasting with mezze.
