Veraria Eko

The Hoxha family of Rahovec makes wine and raki under the “Eko” brand. By the family’s own account the tradition goes back 500 years and is passed down through the generations; a tour operator says the family has produced wine in the valley since the 16th century.

The producer describes its products as ecological and says output is about 300,000 litres of wine and raki a year. The winery is a tasting stop on some tourist itineraries from Prizren.
